This one has now been converted to DVD. It turned out nice! Details, torrents, and b&p offers will follow soon ...

The VCD screen captures look similar to the video I just converted, so my guess is that they are the same source. It is a 2-camera mix, one from Stone's side and one from Mike's side but situated farther back. The tape I converted already had the video mix complete with transitions, still frames to fill in missing video, etc. Does it sound familiar?

I know the taper.

will the taper lend out his master?

Sorry, missed this. Yeah, possibly. He's planning on getting a capture card soon and wants to make a DVD for his own personal use (just for his own sanity) before parting with the tapes. He's also got several other pieces he might be willing to supply - specifically, a couple of MTV News pieces about the concert (one before the show, one after).

I'll post an update when I have more info.

When referring to the 11/19/97 PJ show are you claiming that the show exists in its entirety??? I only own the first five or six songs. I was front row for this show and would love a copy!!! Thanks for any info!!!

I've got what I'm assuming is a 1st gen vhs from the 03/06/92 "naked" Rotterdam show. I say this because, on the back of the orginal case (which I bought shrinkwrapped in '93), it reads: CCS Video Series, M.G.R. Records, 90 min/PRO-1. And it's clean as hell...for vhs.

I have a video of the 9/8/92 Phoenix show. It's shot on the side of the stage, Stone's side. Probably shot by the crew, similar to the 12/31/91 vid. I think it would be a gem but the image quality is not the greatest. It would be great if it could somehow get cleaned up. I would love to hand it off to one of the "usual's" who make the DVD's and see if it can be used. I'm pretty sure this show is not out there on video

Cool, I'm sure the copy you're trying to get is better than mine. My copy has got to be 4th or 5th generation
