if they are on dvds, it is easy enough to get them so i would not blame you for getting them. in the end, unknown gens could be very low gens although it is doubtful.

I have a 1st gen of 4/23/92 Miami (I see the current DVD uses a 2nd gen)...
I also have 2nd gen tapes of these from the list:
08/14/92 : Lake Fairfax Park - Reston
11/30/93 : Aladdin Theater - Las Vegas
12/02/93 : Lawlor Athletic Events Center - Reno
03/15/94 : Fox Theater – St. Louis
01/14/95 : Constitution Hall - Washington DC
01/15/95 : Constitution Hall - Washington DC
10/19/96 : Shoreline Amphitheater - Mountain View
11/13/96 : Forum - Milan
I can put these to DVD on my HD/DVD standalone, but I don't know how to make fancy menus and what not on the computer afterwards (my Pioneer only has like six generic choices)....I also have no clue about how to sync higher quality DAT sourced FLAC/SHN audio to video...
Regardless, I would be happy to make quality video transfers available and if someone else would like to take them and add menus/sync better audio, I am all for it!
I also have a 2nd gen of 10/22/90...does anyone know the gen tape used for the currently circulating DVD?

FYI the quality of these DVDs mostly depends on the VCR you use, so ideally people would loan out their tapes to those of us with high-end VCRs to transfer the tapes.

b+p them man. if you could capture a shot of the vid and post it up .. that would be awesome.
then copy the link and click the Img tool bar above
*edit. cause you saved them in bmp .. use Paint. open the .bmp and save it to .jpg on your desktop, it should save the file by half. then upload it to ImageShack.

That's cool. Actually Life wasted was captured off HDTV (MHD, same as storytellers) and its on that new DVD, which will be out shortly
if you're going to post screenshots, why not post the full-size ones (720x480). Then I can compare it to what we've already got.
Not to be mean but 180x120 is pretty useless. its smaller than VCD resolution and most webcasts, so you probably can't tell the difference between HDTV and VCD with a screenshot that size.
