Soundgarden Lollapalooza Kitsap County Fairgrounds Bremerton, WA USA July 22, 1992
Nice pro shot video of a fine Soundgarden Lollapalooza set. Was apparently a cool day in July as the temperature coupled with the rain resulted in a massive fogbank coming off the bodies in the crowd. Sometimes it looks like the band is performing in the steamroom at the Y. This is probably the only time you'll see Chris play a song wearing a bright yellow hooded raincoat like we all sported in 1st grade. Chris plays quite a bit of guitar on this one. Unexpected pleasure - a 7 minute version of "Ugly Truth". Eddie Vedder pleases the Pearl Jam kiddies by singing backup on "Outshined". Ben Shepherd is a nut on this one - flailing, spinning, goose-stepping, fighting - you get a bit of it all. I really miss these guys. Y'all enjoy.
Setlist 01. Gun 02. Jesus Christ Pose 03. Outshined 04. Big Dumb Sex 05. Ugly Truth 06. Rusty Cage 07. Slaves And Bulldozers 08. Searching With My Good Eye Closed
Chris Cornell - V/G Kim Thayill - G Matt Cameron - D Ben Shepherd - B
Five Minute Chapters. Video: MPEG2 Video 720x480 (4:3) 29.97fps 9334Kbps Audio: Dolby AC3 48000Hz stereo 384Kbps
Pro Shot Low Gen VHS>Standalone DVD>DVD Decrypter

It's the best Soundgarden DVD out there. It's also a great show, with the only downside being that Chris strains to hit a few high notes here and there...but that's just nitpicking. Great stuff.
Pearl Jam shows: Champaign 4/23/2003 Chicago 6/18/2003 St. Louis 10/05/2004 Portland 7/20/2006 Gorge 7/22/2006 Ridgefield 9/26/2009 Philadelphia 10/31/2009
the original Ive had on my list since 07 came with these notes:
Quote:
Soundgarden 7-22-2002 Lollapalooza DVD Bremerton, WA
Lineage - VHS to DVD(1) to DVD(2) to You NTSC set: Gun Jesus Christ Pose Outshined Big Dumb Sex Ugly Truth Rusty Cage Slaves&Bulldozers Searching with my Good Eye Closed notes: Some fuzziness, blurriness and small movements due to tape wear and tear, but very good overall considering that it was 10 years old before it was transferred. Video 8.5+ Proshot Audio 9.5+ Soundboard. Eddie Vedder sings backing vocals on "Outshined"
It has a 20 second loop menu, but only shows six of the eight chapters with icons....the timestamp on Gun starts at 8:55, is 50:02 minutes and 2.89 GB
____________________________________________________________________________________________ I have the Team DZ upgrade, which has the counter starting at 9:49 on Gun, is 47:33 minutes and is 2.55 gb. It has a simple menu/chapters...
_______________________________________________________________________________________________ Then theres this version...The timestamp on Gun starts at 8:57, is 47:24 minutes, but a much larger 3.15 GB for whatever reason...It just has a standalone-style menu with one picturebox...
All 3 have the same setlist and look to be varying quality of the same footage. So one of the DVD experts is gonna have to tell us why this one is so much larger....
As for quality both this "new" version and the Team DZ version are better quality than the one with the loop menu, though I dont know how they grade against one another....
