Hey All-Just a reminder that US postage is going up on Monday the 11th. So b&p packages will be 5 cents more. Instead of $1.17 it would be $1.22. The additional ounce is still seventeen cents. If someone already posted this,sorry-

LOL! I know, a whole nickel! I realized yesterday that most folks weren't aware of the impending increase from 42 cents to 44, along with the 1st class parcel increase.

I have a vague memory of hearing about it but I stocked up on the Forever stamps- so I haven't really cared for a while. BUT I am running low. And I actually wish I had read this this morning before I mailed my bills- I would have used the cute sunflower ones I have instead of the ugly Forever ones- but oh well.

And I am pretty sure most people I know don't know anything about it. And it is pretty important when you are mailing your mortgage payment or whatever.

That's OK, now you have an excuse to buy these: http://shop.usps.com/webapp/wcs/stores/ ... T.ac=44851

I think they should make stamps of many different photos of cocktails. Or maybe roadside attractions. Or how about the cool old neon signs? Electric guitars?

I mean, I know it's "just a stamp", but if there were cooler ones they might inspire people to go back to actually writing letters just to have an excuse to use them.

Just wanted to bump this up since today is the last day to mail those b&p returns with the old postage...and don't forget to leave non-perishable food items out for your mailman today for the National food drive! :)
