Well all the shows are now pulled from the den. I'm just going to vent for a minute.

I pay, what, around $100/ticket for a seat? Plus the same for my girlfriend's ticket. Plus a poster (yeah that's my fault i know). I drive 2 1/2 hours to go to a show (albany 1) and the man is high as shit. He can't remember the lyrics to anything for the first half of the show. And I can't download a live performance of another show where he really does NAIL it?

Image

We bought his overpriced Ten club edition of the Into the Wild CD. We'd buy live recordings of the shows, if only he would offer them. I'm not talking about some compilation that may be offered in the future either. I want all the shows. Greedy? Yes, i suppose.

That's a brilliant way to alienate your fan base. I'm guessing that most of us at these shows are die hard fans. We love live recordings. WAY MORE than the studio stuff. We love to hear rare songs and new performances, because we have listened to everything we have so many times.

I feel like I should have addressed this to Dear Abby. I am such a bitch.

I had no idea that these were circulating. I made it to both Atlanta shows, but didn't think that anyone would have them posted so quickly. CRAP!

I didn't grab the ATL show either, but I did see that it was recorded on an iPhone, so I am not feeling all that bad. If I hear that the quality is great, I will beg for a copy later!!

I am actually more pissed off at the idiots who post links to shit on the Synergy site. There were shows on The Traders Den for almost a year with no problem, then as soon as the links hit Synergy they were hit with a "please pull these" letter...

It actually doesn't sound that bad.

I didn't realize that's what caused it. Morons. What became of subtlety? We had one place flying under the radar or at least being ignored, and they blew it (It's not like they didn't know TTD existed before yesterday).

Regardless of that, these solo tours are turning him into kind of a dick about the live recordings. I think he should burn all his Ramones, Who, Pink Floyd, Doors, etc. live recordings. Or explain his reasoning at least.

I thought I'd be over this by now. Bad day at work I suppose.

Stupid question probably, but I'll ask anyway...

When torrents get pulled from sites like TTD, can they still be seeded by people who have already downloaded the shows? Or does the torrent itself get eliminated somehow and therefore is it no longer seedable?

They can still be seeded to people who have already started the download and people who you send the torrent file to. Hypothetically, of course.

The link? No.

If you can get the torrent file and someone is still seeding, you can get the show. The trick is getting the file since it is no longer being hosted. Hypothetically.

Instead of speaking hypothetically, I will speak theoretically...

Send me a PM and I could theoretically be able to help those who missed out.

I am thoroughly impressed that an iPhone can record so well.
