Seriously? It took me saying I had the new album to get you to look at my thread? For shame! This is actually a Jack White Hi Def Experience offer, not Pearl Jam.

Here I am, where are you? You were probably thinking "That crotchity old man won't ever offer a B&P even though he put up that big rant...." I am here to prove you wrong sonny.

Here we have a mixture of Jack White's three bands - The White Stripes, The Raconteurs, and The Dead Weather - all in High Definition. None of that YouTube HD bullshit, these are all actual broadcast stream captures. Now, I gotta be honest, The Raconteurs ACL performance isn't really HD, but widescreen in a HD stream so don't start yelling at me about it, it's the highest quality you are gonna get. I also don't have any of those stupid 1080i Cable Broadcast > Tivo HD > 720p Media Recording thingy bob. These are original format recordings. All are 1080i except for The Raconteurs - Montreux Jazz Festival. From The Basement had to be retained in it's full episode form due to the H.264 codec which can not be easily cut. It has been split into a .ZIP archive to fit on two discs. From The Basement also includes performances by The Shins and Neil Hannon. You will need to copy both files to your computer hard drive, then extract to get the one larger file. I used 7-Zip to create the archive files. Also, if you want to trade for HD material of any of the three bands listed that I don't have (Raconteurs - Conan Performance, does it exist in HD?) or if you have something you think I might be interested in, drop me a line.

If you don't know what B&P is, here are the guidelines - http://www.mcnichol.com/bnp/
My rules:
1. No foreign currency. I will buy stamps, but don't send that crazy blue and purple money, I can't use it. Same goes for people from Canaduh.
2. Don't send shit media. If I can't burn it at 8x reliably, then it's garbage. Unlike all those nice guys out there, I will not be replacing your discs if they fail. Wipe off the fingerprints before you send your discs.
3. Put enough postage on your envelope for it to get back to you.
4. I don't care if you are a poor college student or you just lost an external hard drive or your dog just took a piss on your computer, I am not a millionaire and will not be offering any freebies. B&P or Trade, hence the name of the forum.
5. Fill out the return envelope. I am not the guy in the mail room, I don't have time to write my address and your address on your return envelope. If you don't write on the envelope....I just scored a free B&P package.

Before I sign up for this, what software do I need to watch these on a DVD in high definition?

Haha....very funny Mr. Smartypants. You can't watch these in HD off a DVD unless you have an PS3 and the files are correctly formatted or you create a Blu-Ray format on a DVD to play in a standalone Blu-Ray player. Otherwise, you will need to play them on a HTPC or your regular computer. I am sure you can use one of those stream box things as well, but I don't have one so I couldn't tell ya.

:haha: Just had to throw that in there to weed out the infidels. When I offered up a similar set on fflive.com, I went out of my way (and against my own rules) to do an international B&P for one guy in the U.K. The recipient was very surprised and disappointed to learn he couldn't play the stuff in a regular DVD player.

Just a thought: maybe you'd have more responses to offering a B&P on a PEARL JAM message board if you offered up, oh I don't know, some PEARL JAM material? Maybe nobody on this PEARL JAM fan site is all that into Jack White & Co. Just my 2¢...
