What does a Ten doormat look like?

I have one of these. It's thick black rubber, with white printing. Has Pearl Jam at the top, a stickman in the middle, and an arrow each side of the stickman pointing straight up. They were made as promo items for record stores to put on the floor in front of the racks selling Ten (thus the arrows).

'Mail me your offer' is a bunch of fucking bullshit and is a fucking severely undecent shitty thing to do. Name your price and you'll have way more, FAR more interest than you've been getting.

Wake up. That wasn't giving him shit or treating him badly. It was asking him to provide prices and not be running a private auction. And I wasn't the only one to say it about that behaviour either. Someone else got jumped on just the other day for three threads in three different forums here doing the same thing. Get yer facts straight.

Dime has a get-out here. It is the whole "tell your child he has done a naughty thing, not that he is naughty" argument. He didn't actually say anyone was anything, just that they shouldn't make themselves look like something. All (sort of) friendly advice.

Fair play. I don't like to see the C word, but it seems to be fair game round these parts.

The general idea is, if you want to sell something, choose a price and offer it at that price.

While I don't think that private auctions are specifically against the rules here, I do think the seller has a much better chance of selling their items if they do it as described above. Most people I know don't enjoy the haggling that often goes on in the "make me an offer" deals and would just bypass the whole thing, even for items they want. It usually isn't worth the hassle.

The point is, without a transparent system you could be bidding against fictional offers. It isn't worth the hassle

Just to point out the OP did in fact point out later that they'd prefer trades as opposed to sales. My thing was they would have gotten a better response had there been prices mentioned or it was clearer about the trade element.

It's one thing to say "Hey, it would help out a lot if you would put prices on what you are selling, it's common courtesy and generally accepted here" as opposed to "you are being a raggedy cunt for not naming your prices and because I was treated like shit at BRY I am gonna pass it on".
