what's a good program to use to encode the RM > DVD?
i've tried Cucusoft AVI/RM to VCD DVD MPEG Converter Pro ... and the encoded file is plagued with glitches every time :(

A DVD has surfaced.

Pearl Jam - Late Show 2006

2006-05-04
New York, Ed Sullivan Theatre

full set
10 songs

MPEG1 with audio @ 192Kbit from the webcast (so the video is not the greatest ...:-( but still the only one available from the only source for a long time)

DVD with menu and chapters

Worldwide Suicide
Comatose
Severed Hand
Marker In The Sand
Gone
Unemployable
Present Tense
Do The Evolution
Why Go
Porch

My goal is to offer a basic DVD with chapters to those who are sick and tired of the ".asf" file

"My goal is to offer a basic DVD with chapters to those who are sick and tired of the ".asf" file"

i want to know which asf version he used? the first aired broadcast or the later rip?

the 341kbps or 331kbps?
i got both rips, and more ...

the first one i did was unseekable (the first live feed), had 2 hickups close to the end of porch. then somebody found the asf edit to make the track viewable. after the encore show was up in rm, few hours later i found the wmv/asf stream again but didn't include the 10 minute water madness. they were in 331 kbps bitrate

does anyone have a link for the asf searchable file of the whole webcast. i know there was one that wasn't searchable and you had to watch all the way through. i'm looking for the other one. I see the RM one up there but i'd like to get my hands on the asf one and i know it's out there somewhere.

Thanks so much for this... I'll be leaving the country in a few days, and these will keep me nice company on the 12 hour plane ride plus 9 hours worth of layover :)
