Since I know there are many of you out there who dabble in trading the official boots from the Binaural/Riot Act era, I'd like to ask a question before I spend hours and hours of work on 2700+ files.
Over the years, I've collected many of these boots through bittorrent and just plain old disc trading. All of the shows I have (in shn or flac format) do not have song titles nor do they have the album art. They were all labeled in the proper trading format: pjyyyy-mm-dddXtXX or year-month-day-disc-track (for a good reason).
Now, I'm in the process of copying them to a separate HDD and converting those copies to mp3 so that I can have them on players for personnel consumption only (NOT TRADING).
Finally, here's my problem: I really want the songs and shows labeled so I can see the venue and song names, but I'm not about to work for several days copying and pasting each song title in the properties of the song. I have media monkey and itunes and they can't find them based on my titles. Plus, I'd love to have the album art for each show too. Is there a better application out there that will automatically tag these files??

Tag & Rename is a pretty good renaming tool, it's what I use to tag all of my bootlegs. It can connect to some CD Databases online and download the track information for you. This should definitely work for bootlegs from 2000 and maybe some from 2003, but I'm not sure if it'll get years after that.

You rock....you saved me weeks worth of work...
Next stupid question: Do you know where I can find a majority of the artwork?
