While listening to Pearl Jam Montreal 2011 and laughing along with EV as he forgets the word to "Sleight Of Hand" I have to wonder is there a compilation of these "mess ups" out there?
True story. My wife was dead center front row for the DC 98 VFC show and Ed forgot the opening lyrics for "Corduroy" and he then looks right down at her and ask "How does it go?" After the song he then leans over & gives her his guitar pick used during the song. If anyone has one of the two source videos you can clearly see it!
Anyway, if you know of a show with a flub in lyrics or the band........tell me. Let's make a list.

One more EV story with the wife. We met him the day before the Atlanta 98 show and she mentioned it was her birthday and during the song "Black" while in our beautiful 4th row seats EV sees here and in the middle of the songs says "Happy Birthday" !! How friggin cool is that!

OK so here's what the other thread mentioned.
"Off He Goes" Gorge 2005--terrible mangling of lyrics "Last Exit" from 6/30/08 is pretty mangled, due to problems with Stone's guitar... "You Are"from Santa Barbara in 06 when Ed misses the bridge completely "Marker in the sand" from St. Paul 06.....mikes guitar cuts out during bridge "Leaving Here" san diego 95 "Nothing As It Seems" - Detroit 2000 - Ed forgets to go into the bridge "Alive" - 5/26/2000 - San Sebastian "Sonic Reducer" from Philly '05. "Sometimes" -San Francisco 2006. Ed totally forgrts the lyrics "Why Go" from Jul 01, 2003 in Bristow "Soon Forget" - Kitchener 2005 "Immortality" 9/24/96 - he blanked on the lyrics, they stopped the song "baba oriley' -reading vfc show "Evacuation" from DC in 08 I believe "Satan's Bed" 2003 from State College "Come Back" from Philly 2 '09 "Do the Evolution" from Cleveland '10 is a total mess "Immortality" Toronto 2000 "Wishlist" not been mentioned? Boston '03 "Habit" philly 3 in 09 the trainwreck to end all trainwrecks "Love Boat Captain" Philly '08 abandon it during the first verse "The Real Me" London Shepherds Bush 2009 "Alone" from East Rutherford 1 2006 "Hail, Hail from Vancouver 2003 "Last Exit" Alpine Valley 6/26/98...song quickly goes to shit "Amongst the Waves" from the first night in LA '09 "Green Disease" Charlotte 2003....the whole band murdered it that night.

There was a Do The Evolution from either the 2000 or 2003 tour (It might have been one of the Japan shows in '03) where they completely skip the Hallelujah part.

Given to Fly Glasgow 2000. Was dead centre and got the same 'whats the line?' look. got a pick for throwing him the next line too.
Indifference London 07. right after saying 'ive written some shit lyrics but i dont think this is one of them' the song starts and he fucks up the first line.
Trying to think of others.
