All of a sudden Vista is going apeshit. Popups galore, telling me that "Antimalware Doctor" is out of date, 27 malicious programs found, please update immediately for only $79, etc. Not Internet popups, but Windows alerts - like every 10 seconds. This is irritating, I mean if I'm infected it won't be the first time and I'll be able to fix it like in the past, but it'll be the first time with Vista. So is this the typical Vista bullshit or do I need to buy Windows-approved software to stop this?

Vista has popped about 7 windows on me in the time it took to type this.

Ok. Vista is doing a "scan", where some "threats" have been found. The filenames that are in my registry have names like EmailWorm.exe, porn.perversion.rio, trojancookie.win32.agent.qm, and so forth. Sounding like some bullshit ...

"NETWORK ATTACK DETECTED"

Popups getting worse ...

Good call.

Apparently this shit has been picking up steam in the last 2 weeks. The user is bombarded with "Digital Protection" pop-ups, and Vista urges the user that the system's security is out of date, someone is trying to access their computer, hey while you're at it, here's some free porn links, bla bla bla. I'm currently running the fix at this link:

I'll let you bitches know if everything works out.

How sweet.

Still working on this. It's apparently been screwing a lot of people in the last few months, and I pity anyone that has to deal with this bullshit.
