LCD always had a motion bluer issue, but this 120hz refesh rate those recent models have make it worse IMO. It looks overly smoothy, plastic-y, make movies looks like a documentary. Of course the whole issue of Hollywood still using 24 frames per second doesnt help TVs that work in 60hz.

Although most recent Plasmas handle 24p from movies quite well and have a much faster and gimmickless refesh rate.
