Setting your Vista to look like Win98 is exactly that

Seriously. Considering Memory was like 30 bucks US for 4GB a year or two ago. Bad luck for all those that didn't take advantage of that. I wish I had hoarded a bunch back then for now.

Then setting it to look like 98 isn't so much because you don't have enough memory.

also i couldnt figure out why my power settings werent taking, anyone else encounter this?

open cmd from start

Now type the following command which will list out all the devices that can wake up your Windows 7 computer.

Powercfg -devicequery wake_armed

now you can go into hardware manager, right click the device and properties, power management and disable it by unchecking the box

Ok I'm having a problem getting Windows 7 to recognize Opera as my default browser. When I installed it I checked the box to set it as the default browser, but when I click on a URL in another program (say an IM client) it opens up IE. So today I went into control panel, turn off/on windows features, and disables Internet Explorer. Then I uninstalled opera, then i ran ccleaner registry cleaner then I reinstalled Opera setting it as the default. Now Opera is set as the default during installation and is the ONLY browser installed on my system. When I click on a link in another piece of software (like my IM client) nothing happens. How do I get Windows 7 t o recognize my default browser?

You should use Google Chrome.
