i have spyware on my computer that my norton virus detector didn't detect. Sometimes anti viral programs can miss some things.

use spybot or ad-aware to get rid of spyware. or just use mozilla

F-Prot is a good free AV program.

Ad Aware is my spyware program of choice...for when I have to use IE.

You WILL have spyware if you use IE, don't think like I did that you can avoid it by being smart...you can't, it downloads without any notification to you!

Use Firefox for everyday browsing and you'll avoid this.
