Alright, this is pretty strange. My mom has a Sony walkman, one of the newer PSYC models or whatever they're called. So she goes to use it last night, and when she tries to push play, but nothing happens. The batteries are not dead, the 'hold' button is not on. When the disc goes in, the flashing 'disc' sign comes up, but it will not do anything after that.

So, I have a Sony walkman too, a pretty new model, not a PSYC model, but virtually the same thing. I go to play it tonight....that exact same thing happens. It won't play. Same problem my mom had with hers last night.

Kind of a strange coincidence that it happened to both of them around the same time, but does anyone know why this would happen? As I said, the batteries aren't dead, and the 'hold' isn't on. Someone please help, I just bought the goddam thing 2 months ago.
