Hi all!

Does anybody out there know how to reprogram a BelTronics Vector 985 radar detector? The inside of the instruction booklet says the following, but it does not give any more details:

"Vector 985 contains Flash Technology which provides the highest capability to be reprogrammed as the threat of new police traffic radar monitoring technologies emerge."

The reason why I am asking this is because I have heard that there is a new radar that the police are starting to use (a new K-band I believe) and I would like to upgrade my system if possible, but I have no clue where to go from here.

I have looked on BelTronics website but did not find anything there either. I will probably end up calling BelTronics during the week, but if anybody out there knows how to do this and could either post the information or direct me to a website that explains this, I would really appreciate it!!!
