alright i bought a new computer last month and it has a capture card or whatnot and it has the connections for s-video and video/audio cords. it also came with this cord that you connect into the s-video plug on the computer but on the other end it has the plug for a yellow video cord. so you plug this cord into the computer's s-video plug and then on the other end of the plug you plug the yellow video cord into it.
so i tried useing it and then when i burned the dvd with the video files i made and color on the dvd comes out fucked up pretty much inverts the color. so my question is what do i with this s-video to video cord? or is it the other way around i plug it into my TVs s-video and then connect the video cord into it into the computer?
hopefully my description of this cord made sense lol if it didnt i'll look for or take a picture of it and post it

Did you watch the videos you captured on your PC before you burned them? Are the colors messed up when you watch them on your PC?
Also could you be more specific about what you have connected? Is it digital cable running through an A/V receiver into your PC? Regular coaxial cable through a TV or VCR?
