....take a dvd and convert it to a cd??

for isntance, i have a bunch of dvds of shows that id like to listen to in the car..is it possible to put the dvd in the computer and convert the video files to wma or mp3?? is there any software i can get to do this??

I know it's for sure possible. Because I've downloaded a couple Gamma Ray audio things that were ripped straight from their DVDs. How to go about doing it I have no idea of.

like GEG said, it is possible, but i also dont know how, i do though think that you will get help faster if i put this in tech support, otherwise this thread might fall off the 1st page fast :lol:

I've extracted audio and video off of some of my dvd's using my Mac. I'm not sure how you'd do it on Windows.
