 Post subject: Computer Monitor and S-Video

If you have an s-video port on your monitor, and one on your video card, can you just use that to hook up your monitor to your computer like a vga cable? or is that for something different?

ok, well the reason i was wondering was that an svideo cable is alot smaller....anyway, another question, im getting a new flat screen monitor and im debating weather to get a 20 in wide screen or the 20 in standard any suggestions??

unless you watch all your dvds on your cpu then go with the normal screen.
