I have taken off the firewall on my internet connections, butit still seems to be firewalled b/c I have a yellow light and people are talking about there speeds. Mine max at 40 if they get pass 5 kb/s. I have cable internet and I know something is wrong. I have read every FAQ and I can not figure it out. PLEASE HELP!!!

I have a different router, but it must be quite the same process to get rid of the firewall.

You must open ports in your gateway: access your gateway from your Internet Browser by entering its IP adress (must be something like http://192.168.1.1 ). You should get a config screen. Go to the firewall settings, and add the ports you wish to open in your firewall (like 6881 to 6889 for torrents).
