 Post subject: Having some serious video/sound issues right now.

It's pissing me off. Streaming audio/video of any kind won't work; I get about 2 seconds of video and the video freezes (though still loads), and there is no sound altogether. I've since tried loading songs with Winamp and the songs won't start playing.

This happens sometimes on my mother's comp. Reboot the computer and it should work again.

Decent advice - but a reboot solved the problem. I'd still like to know what caused it.
