Post subject: Can someone help me out with downloading and Playing VCD/DVD

Ok, For almost 2 years now, I have seen people trade dvd's and download or bit torrent vcd's, video content, porn & live concerts from pearl jam and other bands. I have the bit torrent thing down, but what do I need to burn this content?, what do i need to play it on my pc?. Please help me out.
