is it possible to buy ink cartridges for the printer from a store because it says they are only available by ordering it from dell. is this true?

I was wondering the same thing, I need new ink for my printer as well.

If so, I have not seen the dell brand of toner anywhere that I can think of.

I'm almost positive all of Dell printers are manufactured through Lexmark. I have no idea if this means regular Lexmark cartridges will work, though...

You could always call them and ask. Generally they tell you answers to questions like that.

Unless there's a Dell store (which I'm not even sure actually exist) nearby, then no, you have to purchase them online. This is why sensible people don't get Dell printers.

I have Dell's in both my classroom and at home, theircustomer service is terrible. Go to their site and go to live chat, that is the fastest way to get an answer!
