Does anyone know foobar2000?

This player can play both shn/flac formats and can convert shn to flac, flac to shn.
Of course, shn/flac to wav.

cool i guess, but why would you want to convert flac to shn or vice-versa?

One reason might be if you want to torrent two parts of shows together and want to keep the same format for all of it. I almost did this with the Bridge Show Benefit torrent but got lazy.

Another reason might be that I simply prefer FLAC to SHN.

The other feature that makes listening to live stuff on Foobar better than say, Winamp, is that there are no small gaps between tracks -- one track flows right into the next.
