So I just got my wireless card working on my laptop tonight. I came home and thought I'd check if I could pick up any access points from here. No, I couldn't pick up one -- I picked up SEVEN different access points heh. Granted I'm in a condo complex so there are a lot of condos nearby, but still.

I wish I had tried this earlier, I could have saved myself $50/month Oh well, at least I can enjoy it for a few days until I move (thanks "Maren").

i know what you mean, my friends live in a big complex in state college....anyway, when i go up w/ my lap top i can get on a bunch of connections....and thieirs isnt that fast so i just hijack someone elses!! yes 'unsecured wireless internet'!!!

As long as you don't negatively affect their performance, I wouldn't call it hijacking.. just free-riding.
