 Post subject: computer's sleep mode

stupid question, but i can find where to change the time till the computer sleeps, i have windowsXP home, any help would be great

right click on your desktop and click properties. then click screensaver, then click power.

so i just got a laptop.. is there anyway to have programs runnign while my screen is shut? probably a stupid question but oh well

just close the screen, works fine on mine.

as long as your computer is on, i do believe you can close your laptops screen and not be affected by it

it does leave programs running after i shut the screen, but if i leave aim on and have my away message up, shut the screen, then open it back up it shuts AIM off totally.


and also, when i shut the screen all my bittorents stop downloading and do not resume until i open it up
