 Post subject: Bit torrent- strange extensions

I just used bitTorrent for the 1st time (I'm behind the times I know) but the end files had different extensions than I was expecting: .rar .nfo .sfv .r00 .r01 etc. What do I do with these? I didn't see anything in the faq

Install WinRAR.

Double-click on one of the files ending in .rXX (.r00, .r01, etc.).

WinRAR will open up. You may need to click on one of the files again. Then just drag the assembled file to wherever you want it.

You can open .nfo files in notepad. There's really no reason to touch the nfo or sfv files.
