im trying to fix this computer at my dad's hardware store. how can i make it faster? ive got uptodate virus and spyware protection, and ive deleted anything unnecessary and defragged it. any suggestions?

you can do alot fo things....the easiest would be to get more ram. another would be to get a faster processor....but you need to see what the capabilities of your mother board are. you would simply need to see what brand and model it is, go to their website, then check the max speed of the processor it can handle. if the one that is in there now is slower, get the faster one.

without doing any of that, you may increase the speed somewhat by simply using disk defrag. its under accessories then system tools
