I need to make a seamless tile for a project I'm currently working on (ie: an image that is able to repeat itself seamlessly, as in a background to a website) but I can't quite figure out how to do it right. The program I'm using is Paint Shop Pro and the image I'm working with is:
Any ideas? Also, if anyone knows of an easy way to do the diagonal stripes in Paint Shop Pro (like the ones I did), please let me know.
Thanks!
Oh, and yes, I have googled the matter already but I was hoping someone could explain it one-on-one since the websites didn't really help much.

I would just continually crop the edge off until it repeats correctly. It might just be one of those trial-and-error things.
Is that ^ all you had to do? Blargh, I'm such a moron then 'cuz I was trying to do it with the Selections > convert to seamless pattern option, which didn't work too well.
Thanks a lot, seriously

No Problem..
Also, I found a pretty easy way to do stripes:
1) Open up your color palette. Choose the "gradient" tab. Click "edit". Click "new" and choose a name.
2) On the top slider, lay out the pattern you would like the stripes to be in:
Slide the colors so that you have the edges as sharp as you'd like them. The closer they are together, the sharper the edges.
Then, close that screen, and on the gradient options choose the angle and the number of repetitions.
Finally, use the flood fill to paint the stripes.
