ok i have a question:

im trying to convert my official boots to .flac so i can share/store them.
i was wondering if someone could give me a walk through or direct me one so i can convert them correctly.

i want to use eac, and flac frontend

i also would like a pattern as to how the text file sould go

ex.

official boot > eac > ? > ? > ? > flac

disc 1
1.
2.

ect.

i know on sidewalk crusaders there is something similar to what i need, but it is using shn format. also i would like to know the settings for eac so that when it rips the shows from the cd that it numbers them/names them in the proper format....ex pjyyyy-mm-ddd1t01.flac

thanks a bunch in advance

josh

just follow the same guide, and instead of using mkwact, use flac frontend.

it's also possible to set up EAC to use the FLAC encoder, but you might want to run through that guide first.

as for the pattern i'd say

Official Bootleg > (your cd/dvd drive make and model) > EAC (Version number) > FLAC 1.1.2 (or whatever version you use) > flac

so mine would be

Official Bootleg > NEC ND-2510A > EAC 0.9pb5 > FLAC 1.1.2 > flac
