1. How do I save real audio on my drive? I'm not sure how to download ra, because it always streams. Can someone explain to me how to do this?

2. And how do I convert ra to mp3 format?

1. Get the adress of the audio stream. There are two ways:
- try "Save As" on the link, and open the small file you get with a text editor. There is a link inside. Copy it.
- use URL Snooper. This freeware will look for every streaming adress available on a website (it works great for Real or wmv streaming videos).

Then, download the real file with a download manager like Flashget or a dedicated freeware like Streambox VCR, using the real adress you found.

2. Convert first the real audio to wav, with Streambox. Then, use your favorite wav to mp3 encoder to get your file (I recommend the freeware CDEx, with the Lame codec).

If you wish to extract audio from a real video file, you must use a small program called rma02501 (Google search it), to split audio and video. Then repeat the steps described above.

for converting, you can try http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm , i find it to be the best and most easy software to convert various audio-formats (codec-plugins for flac, shn, mp3, ogg ...)
