How's that M-Audio card? I've heard they make fantastic stuff and I believe they are one of the only soundcard manufacturers that works with ProTools.
I really want to get the new Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi Elite Pro. It's got a breakout box with 1/4" inputs for any electrical instrument using that size jack, plus it comes with QueBase.
Not to mention it's perhaps the best card on the market right now.

It's fantastic. The recording quality I get from it is very professional. The problems I've always found with other audio recording cards are that they almost always pick up internal noise from the computer. With the M-Audio it's clean as a whistle. Another issue is latency. Other cards I've tried have latency problems or have slow response. With the Delta, the latency is super good.
It's an extremely good investment for anyone doing home recording

That sounds awesome...the home recording is just an added bonus though. With the new CMSS-3D upmixing (turns stereo into 5.1, 6.1 and/or 7.1), EAX 5.0 HD and various other Codecs, the new X-Fi has me by the balls.
It's been getting rave reviews from everyone and the sound quality is apparently unmatched. It's got a new "crystalizer" functionality that upmixes existing 16-bit recordings into 24-bit sound, effectively making the new upmix better than the source, and you can record it "as you hear it" so you can make MP3s of the revamped files.
