First of all, I'm pretty sure I set my ports right. Before my problem was that torrent sites said i was still behind a firewall. No matter what i did, it would say i was behind the firewall and as everyone knows if you aren't sharing, your dload rate really sucks.
NOW, when i click on the file it says something like "it can't connect to the tracker" I can't do ANYTHING NOW!! Ahhhhhhhhhh!
I've looked at many, many bittorrent sites for help, and it seems that i am doing everything as i am suppost to!
any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Yeah I posted the same thing about a week ago

I'm pretty sure I opened the ports on the firewall, and the router, but still get "cannot connect to tracker"

So I will search some more and if you are able to get it fixed out, send me a PM :D

are you running a software firewall or hardware firewall or both?

If you're using Bittornado, you need to go to 'prefs' > 'advanced' and enter your ip address in the top field. That rectified my problem.

If the previous post doesn't fix it, I'd disable the XP firewall (provided you keep your hardware firewall intact) and try again. Do you have multiple machines behind your router? If so, make sure your port mapping from the router to your specific private IP address and not to some other one on your LAN
