i have a RCA Lyra 1080

just 128mb ram, it holds about 30 songs, which is exactly what i need it to do, i can expand it to 256, but dont feel the need.

i paid 100 for it in march or april, im sure you can get it for around 75-80 now.

no complaints at all from me on this thing

I have a 20gig 1st generation iPod and I love it, the only downfall is that they don't make a cigarette lighter charger for the first gens. Great product though no matter what you hear negative. The battery will lose life over time, just like cell phones, and any other battery in the world. The replacement is 99 bucks, but i've had mine for almost two years, it still last 5 hours or so.

Does anyone know anything about the Creative Zen 20GB player? It looks pretty sweet, and i would rather go that route than another ipod, but i havent heard anything about it.

At one time, they did make chargers for those early 20gb ipods. I used to have one, but sold it when I got my 40gb. Check ipodlounge.com, you might be able to find one there.
