Well, maybe I'm just lost. A folder titled VCD is on the disc, and in it are 6 files: CDI, EXT, MPEGAV, PICTURES, SEGMENT, and VCD. In those are other random files, but none that play anything.

Don't try opening the folders, ignore those and just go to a program like power DVD and play directly from the D drive.

I was just looking to play it in Divx player. Does that not work am I'm just an idiot. Do I need to download a special dvd player to play vcd's. Thanks.

the filestructure isnt correct for a VCD: -> its not recognized as VCD in your DivX Player.
The CDI, EXT, MPEGAV, SEGMENT and VCD folder has to be in the root directory of the VCD. ALL 5 folders in the root dir and inside MPEGAV directory is the actual Videofile named: AVSEQ01.DAT
