I had one and it sucked. I returned it right away. My brother has the same one and it works pretty well in his car.

What kind of head unit do you have? If it has an 1/8 inch auxilliary input, then you can buy a chord at radio shack for a few bucks and plug that sucker in there.

If you have a tape deck in your car, just get an adapter that fits in there. You be glad to have the hard wired connection.

Getting a tapedeck adapter is the only way to go.

Most newer CD players (not from the car factory) come with an audio input jack. If that's an option for you, it's the best way to go.

I like mine and I used to use it a lot before i started burning my cds. The most irritating thing about it is sometimes the sound will just start going fuzzy from interception, and other times radiostations will but into the song for about 10 seconds.
It's an iTrip.

Using a tape deck adapter is like taking a step backwards, what is this 1998?

Get a hardwired connection. Do some fishing around http://www.ilounge.com, but I got the proper cables and adapters, and hooked it up to the back of the input jacks on the BACK of my head unit, (although someone was correct in saying that most new head units comes with input on the front, if you aren't into messing with stuff, just get a new head unit)

FM transmitters are horrible, get yourself a REAL hardwire connection and you'll be in heaven.

FM Transmitters work better if you take off your car antenna.
