so, i'm looking at getting an external hard drive for christmas. i'm in the process of making a list for my parents. anybody know of any sweet deals?

You're better off getting a regular drive and turning it into an external one, with a USB 2.0 hookup.

go to newegg.com or a similar site and you can get all you need. The case is about 30 bucks.

true, i did the same exact thing.

although, i HAVE been seeing some really really great deals on external hd's as well lately.
