Somebody stole my yahoo email account. Yahoo can do nothing.

I'm so pissed. Years of photos and personal shit gone.

Any ideas?

Sorry, man. That really sucks that your password was taken. I have no idea what you could do.

does yahoo have an option for a secret question if you "forgot your password"? maybe you can answer the question correctly and re-set the password.

go on a p2p program and search text files for "how to hack email".

if you open the file there's some big tedious half assed explanation of how "the process works" and then it tells you to put the person's email that you want the password to and then your own address and password in the body of the email so that you will "confuse the system" somehow and it'll send you the password of the person you want

i'm not saying that the original poster did this by any means, but i know of a few people that were stupid enough to actually believe this.
in my estimation, this (and similar ways) would be the only way that "big name" providers get hacked and the people get away with it.

yeah, you could do that.

Unless the person who hacked your password changed the question in the option.

have a password at least 8 characters in length.

Use a combination of both upper- and lower-case letters, numbers and symbols (!, @, #, etc).

I use Password Safe to generate and save all my ridiculous passwords.
