I'm looking to buy a new computer but I'm little torn between getting a mac or a pc. The deciding factor is whether i can get a recording program as easy to use (garage band just allows you to drag and drop, crop and loop tracks with the mouse) and flexible (with all of the samples and loops) on pc for a few hundred dollars.

What programs do you guys suggest?
