the IT powers that be at my place of continued employment issued an edict concerning cleaning up our My Documents area of personal things...I have ripped cd's onto windows media player and they are in the My Music section of My Documents....is there any way to get rid of them there but still be on my media player, and if so how do i go about keeping them from entering My Music when i rip more.

Thanks,

Lenny, lost and Southern

after you move the current music files to where you want go to:

File > Add to library > By Monitoring Folders.

then add the folder you put the music in. from then on its should auto sync with the new folder

to change the default rip folder:

Tools > Options > Rip Music > Change
