I use BitTornado (and have been for almost half a year) and all of a sudden I'm getting yellow lights and easytree leechers list shows me as being firewalled. I haven't changed a thing since this started happening, it was all of a sudden. I use Norton Internet Security firewall (it is set to "permit all" traffic for BT) and I have a Belkin router which uses NAT (it is set to forward ports 6881-6889, easytree shows 6882 as being firewalled). I have done all that for as long as I have been using BT and have never had a problem until last week.

Any ideas?

Try pasting your actual ip address into the Bittornado client in the preferences > advanced settings. That should do the job.

By actual do you mean IP address behind the router or IP address outside the router?

Go here: http://www.lagado.com/proxy-test and use "The proxy informs us that the client host ip address was..." Which is the line directly beneath the proxy host information.

Didn't seem to fix it, I'm still getting a yellow-light.

I think I'll try another client or something.

Hmm, sorry. Not sure what the problem could be.

Fixed it.

My router had for some unknown reason switched the IP addresses of two computers so I was forwarding the ports to a different computer. A quick change to the port forwarding settings fixed that.

Thanks for your help!

You're welcome, sounds like you had exactly the same issue as me.
