okay so i wanna buy an ipod shuffle.

so my question is do i need to download itunes? and if so does it cost anything?


right now i have- windows media player, realplayer, and music match jukebox.

i ask because i just wanna take the songs from my cd and put them on my ipod, but since i have like no money, i don;t want to be spending any $ on downloading itunes or another device to put the songs on my ipod.

itunes is free. i don't think you need it, but it makes it a lot easier.

you can dl itunes now and start uploading some cds just to see if you like it. totally free.

i understand being broke, cause i currently am, but id consider going with a nano.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't every iPod come with the latest version of iTunes?

And yeah, splurge a wee bit and at least go Nano.

yeah they all come with the software if you don't want to download it from apple

i got a new ipod this xmas and it didnt come with a software disc.

since you can DL it for free it doesn't really matter, but yeah they really should have provided it.

same way you can dl a big ass instruction manual, but they dont provide it?

congrats. did you get a case for it? they scratch really easily.

The 1st gen nanos did. The 2nd gen nanos don't scratch easily at all.

yeah i bought a plastic case for it..


now about the earphones. the ones that come with it blow. Now i have those big ones the cover your head and i like em, but with the case the plug won;t fit.

any info on earphones that actually stay in your ears?
