ok so i downloaded the NIN closure DVD and am trying to watch it on my computer. but it keeps buffering. i've restarted my computer, closed out most of the crap in the system tray, and prior to opening RM had nothing else open. and it still is jumpy in places.

my computer is a p4 3.4 ghz with 0.99GB of RAM. under visual effects, it says "let windows choose what's best for my computer"

also, when i go to the windows task manager, under processes, at the top is firefox with 82K, then explorer with 29K, the IExplorer with 29K. which is another issue - i don't know the last time i've used IE, and every time i restart it says "internet explorer has had an error would you like to send an error report" or some such nonesense. i'm on firefox on this computer - how do i turn off IE?

Since your computer is quite powerful, Windows will choose the heaviest options.

are you sure you downloaded the whole DVD? in Utorrent you can Force Recheck, to make sure you downloaded everything.
