I am writing up my resume and I am having a tough time including experience I have gained from class.
I know this is what the cover letter can be used for, but I ran the PR for a non-profit last semester, I also was the project manager for publishing a book, plus I am writing a thesis. I'd like to include these things on my resume. Is there an official way to do this other than just sliding them in the Education section?
There are all kinds of different ways to approach resumes. Are you organizing it by project? by skills?
It goes:
Education
(my schools)
Experience
(my real jobs)
Right now I have my "real world" class projects under education because treating each one like a job would take up too much space and isn't really needed. So I just list them under education.

Here are the categories on my resume.
Work Experience
Education
Intern and Volunteer Experience
Certifications, Licensures, and Training
Skills
Perhaps you need an "Intern and Volunteer Experience" section.
