Can't go wrong with a Thinkpad or the latest line of Dell's. Part of my job is to evaluate different laptops for my company to purchase.

I saw a pretty good deal on a laptop at Fry's Electronics that I considered buying for like $800. Do they have Fry's Electronics in Canaduh?

I don't think so, we have Best Buy and Future Shop and stuff like that

Thinkpad's have far and away the best management tools and utilities. Easy to use stuff like wireless management and system recovery. Dell is better with price and their systems are top notch. If you want the extra "bells and whistles" go for the thinkpad. Best value go with Dell.

What do you mean by wireless management? because I will be using the net via a wireless router
