so I plug my ipod into my computer to update it, but it won't automatically update. It just pops up a window asking me if I'd like to edit it using realplayer. I can't find anywhere on Itunes to get it to read it's plugged in or update it. Any ideas?

take it to an apple store? or call the apple store?

My podcasts don't update reliably, and when they do, they don't sync with my ipod reliably.

Here's the issue I've been struggling with lately.

I turn off the shuffle for all of my Pearl Jam because I don't want it playing during the Shuffle Songs feature. Frankly, I use Shuffle Songs because I'm tired of hearing Pearl Jam.

But once I do that, I can no longer shuffle Pearl Jam albums or any playlist with Pearl Jam songs in it. I wish there were a way to turn off the full iPod shuffle for a song without turning off shuffle alltogether.
