I was looking for the best program to edit songs, Say if i want to cut 10 seconds off of a song, or even cut out the middle of a song and have the beginning in the end. Anyone know a program that works well to edit songs. Any help appreciated! Thanks

The best (in my opinion) if Adobe Audition, if you need a hookup with it, let me know. :)

Hey man I don't know if you still need help, but after reading this I'd be remis(?) if I didn't point you in the direction of WavePad. I've lost count of the number of times I've recommended this to people (& them telling me after the fact they loved it). It's free, incredibly easy to use and yet can do so much. You can perform plenty of little edits, slicing off bits at the beginning, middle or end of a song, inserting a silence, joining two songs together, inserting a fade in/out, and when you're ready to output you can save the file either as a wave or MP3 (& if so choose the bitrate).

It might be overally my most frequently used computer application.
