I´m absolutely new to this ipod thing, just got a 30GB video ipod and wanted to load some .avi video files on it but have absolutely no idea how to do it, or if I need any specific software for this...
any help would be greatly apreciated

Google "AVI to iPod converter" and you'll get a crapload of little progs you could use to be able to convert to Ipod format. (MP4)

well, I did this, found a couple of programs and succeded!...thanks!
