do you think this is a good buy,

AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800 processor (dual core)
A8r32-MVP deluxe crossfire ready motherboard
Radeon x1900 XTX 512mb graphics card

all for AUS$550 (US$445)

Uh...

...YEAH

I assume it at least has a dvd burner and good HD space. That'll definitely last you about 4 years even if you're a gamer.

sorry should have said, they are just components to upgrade my shitty

athlon 2400+
crap mobo
128 graphics card


so ill still need to upgrade memory

the card is great

DONT GO WITH AMD!!

I built my own pc from scratch and did a lot of research. Intel Core 2 Duo's are owning AMD at the moment
