im looking for some program, to do what the title says, i want to take some part of some songs

any idea?

i have an mp3 cutter. really small and easy to use, no installation necessary. problem is that it fucks up vbr files, which sucks because i have all my mp3's in v0.

Nothing to me is better then Adobe Audition, 1.5 or 2, doesn't matter...

Edited for myself, if it's nothing huge you want to do then Adobe Audition wouldn't be the right way to go, but Audacity is quite good..
